We maintain the 2 x 1 GbE network adapters for vMotion and then configure multiple VMkernelinterfaces using the same NIC and network. Each time you add a VMkernel adapter and enable it forvMotion, you create a new stream. With more streams, there is greater bandwidth utilization.
