Question 149 - 5V0-22.21 discussion
A vSAN administrator is looking forward to managing hypervisor, server drivers, and firmware all in one cluster image using vLCM. The vSAN administrator edits the desired Image and selects the desired ESXi version and Vendor Addon but is unable to add any firmware.
Why is there no firmware available to add to the image?
A.
All hosts in the cluster have the most current firmware installed already, and as a result, vLCM has no firmware to add to the image.
B.
The vCenter server version is older than 7.0, and as a result, vLCM does not support firmware addons.
C.
In order for firmware addons to be available, the administrator must first deploy the server vendor Hardware Support Manager <HSM) and import the appropriate server vendor bundle.
D.
The hosts listed in the cluster is managed by a vSphere Update Manager, so firmware updates are not possible.
